Alex Pereira Finally Confronts Jiri Prochazka Over Witchcraft Accusations During Airport Meeting After UFC 303

Alex Pereira’s coach has shed light on the conversation ‘Poatan’ had with Jiri Prochazka at the airport following their UFC 303 fight. The Brazilian dismissed Prochazka’s witchcraft claims and told the Czech fighter that he also believed in god.

He also told Prochazka that he had never touched a dark art in his life and urged ‘BJP’ (Bomby Jak Pa) not to twist things. The pair met at the airport after their UFC 303 fight, which Pereira won via a second-round finish.

Alex Pereira confronts Jiri Prochazka’s claims

Jiri Prochazka hinted several times that Alex Pereira used magic ahead of their UFC 303 bout that took place this past weekend. Pereira secured a spectacular victory in the main event of UFC 303.

The pair, who have a huge amount of mutual respect, met at the airport after the fight. Pereira’s coach told Ariel Helwani that ‘Poatan’ told Prochazka: “Just so you know, I’ve never touched witchcraft in my life… I’m a man of God, just like you, so don’t twist it.”

Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka have fought twice in recent times. Pereira defeated Prochazka at UFC 295 to become the light heavyweight champion. While the Czech fighter had moments in that fight, the second fight at UFC 303 was a complete shutout of Pereira.

In the lead-up to their rematch, Prochazka insisted on a fair fight, claiming that Pereira uses magic to gain an unfair advantage over his opponents. Alex Pereira has always dismissed those claims and has now made his position clear to Prochazka personally.

The victory at UFC 303 marked Pereira’s second successful title defense, having previously defeated Jamahal Hill at UFC 300.

Coach Alex Pereira reveals ‘Poatan’ received $303,000 bonus for Jiri Prochazka’s win

Alex Pereira was rewarded for taking on Jiri Prochazka with two weeks’ notice and putting on a show. Pereira did not receive a $300,000 bonus for UFC 300, as Max Holloway received two bonuses.

Dana White informed Pereira that he had won the Performance of the Night bonus for the UFC 303 victory over Prochazka. ‘Poatan’ asked the UFC CEO if he would be paid $303K. Despite initially denying the request, White agreed to the request.

Pereira’s coach told Ariel Helwani: “Dana looked at him and said, ‘You know what, man? I’m going to take care of you. You have the $303,000.’ He even joked that he should buy a supercar with that money. (Pereira) said, ‘I have enough supercars.’ He wants a Cybertruck.”

During his short time with the UFC, Alex Pereira has already achieved some spectacular performances and is already one of the faces of the company.
