Heartland Calls All Viewers for Fan Extras Day – OkotoksOnline.com

Heartland fans will get the chance to be part of the show.

The CBC’s long-running program has reintroduced Fan Extras Day.

During the filming of previous seasons, the series production has on several occasions called on fans from the Calgary area to participate directly in the filming.

They are currently filming the 18th season of the series and are once again inviting fans to participate in the “biggest, most exciting” Fan Extras Day yet, which will require hundreds of extras.

A rodeo competition requires hundreds of extras, who are expected to dress as they would for the Calgary Stampede.

The event will take place on July 15 at an as-yet-undetermined location, but is reportedly less than an hour’s drive from downtown Calgary.

Interested parties are asked to submit an RSVP for each person.

The form states that not everyone who responds is guaranteed a spot. Confirmation emails will be sent to those accepted by July 9.
